This idea that species are invasive makes zero sense. Full stop. It’s such a weird human thing, that people in the east coast are killing the spotted lantern fly. What did the spotted lantern fly do to deserve that? It’s only viewed as invasive to the our eyes. It isn’t the way “we” view the world going.

I still remember this conversation I had with my friend while hiking last year. He just couldn’t accept my notion that human beings are invasive species, by the definitons we set-up. Like, are you kidding me, we have basically occupied this whole planet. The human race has effectively “won” over ever other species. Yet, we continue to be specieist.

The Hypocrisy

The same people that will go out and kill the lantern fly, thinking that they are going “good” for the environment, will in the same day, maybe same hour, consume animal flesh. They will eat animals, proudly. That doesn’t add up, as the action of killing the lantern fly is doing nothing to protect the environment, I would say it’s an immoral act.

It’s projection.

Instead of accepting, that we have collectively caused this issue, we push it onto the bug. The bug is just doing it’s thing. It doesn’t have the level of reasoning we have?? Why are we projecting blame onto a species, that literally does not have the capacity for understanding??? It doens’t know it’s invading or being a invsaive to the current climate?? Yet we are capable, it’s so backwards and weird af.

The argument that cows, pigs, chickens, and any animal that is domesticated for slaughter, is some-how going to die out as an argument against veganism, is absurd. It’s the suffering that is occuring for me. It doesn’t have to do with those specific animals??? I would argue those animals should not exist. Just as I won’t have children because I would consider the way the world is currently to be satanic, inverted, and evil. I am not going to allow, my child, to be manifest. That is unfortunate, but also I am doing a service to my bloodline. I would say I am more of anti-natalist as time goes on because, if you are to raise a child in the current climate, you would have to do so much to not indoctronate that child. It’s ironic af too, as some people want to have children so badly but are unable to. Meanwhile, I want to have children, but understand how it is a moral failing, to have a child under a totalitarian regime in place that everyone, even myself, is in support of. I will not add another figure to that. Plus, it is already difficult enough to raise myself. It is not wrong to choose this path, it will give me more time to develop myself, and to be a real force of change in this world. I would say I would get a vasectomy, when the time is right.

So furthermore, it is wrong to allow these animals to exist, it really is. The suffering. The non-involvement with the species, that is why I am 100% against domestication. There are moral ways to study animals, and we don’t need to torture them, to understand more about a species.

It is not moral to keep an animal species alive, for meat consumption or any form of consumption. It’s evil, immoral and wrong.
